Grid Energy Production and Storage

Our technology can provide a constant supply of energy to the electricity grid. Our power generation is unique compared to other fuel sources that are used to power the electricity grid.

We have developed a zero carbon energy system that provides a reliable constant source of energy to the grid, and also value for money compared to other fuel sources, our technology can easily be scaled to deliver large energy production.

For grid application, our product can be scaled from 10kw to 500MW, with research underway to develop larger scale energy generation stations.

There has been a big shift towards decarbonising electricity supplies across the globe, from using renewable energy to new data technologies, and a wider range of heat and transport solutions, we see exciting ways to deliver our product and how it can have an enormous impact on climate change and deliver energy at lowest costs.

The other application of our technology on the energy grid is energy storage

Our technology can be used to enable the Smart Grid, the Smart Grid would provide the following:

Faster restoration of electricity after power outages
Storage and release of energy during valley and peak demand
Reduction in peak demand
Better integration of renewable energy generation sources – both small and large scale

One of the key considerations for enabling a smart grid is the more efficient use of our energy production during valley and peak demands on the electricity grid. Xin Ba energy storage can efficiently store energy from the grid at periods when there is low demand to ensure a reduction in the energy wastage, the stored energy can then be released during peak demand to reduce the strain on the electricity grid.

The growth and supply of clean renewable energy sources, such as wind and solar PV, can present vulnerabilities within the energy network as we become more reliant on renewable energy sources; the main challenge with renewable energy sources is the intermittent supply of energy. Integrating our energy storage batteries with renewable energy sources eliminate the intermittent supply and provides a storage capacity solution that is low cost, self-sufficient and stores energy for a long duration.
